There was a vintage beat to Lucy Cowan of Manchester School of Art’s collection. Pastel shades of mint, smokey blues and rose pinks are worked with androgynous shirts and feminine skirts. We loved her photoreal prints - injecting a sense of nostalgia into her collection.

Hannah Podbury presented extreme knitting for her final collection at The University of Northampton’s #GFW show. Featuring a conceptual collection of exaggerated chunky yarns, sheer knitted loops and net textures merged, embellished and draped across simple shapes.

Karen Shechori showed one of the more directional prints at Istituto Marangoni’s graduate show yesterday. These strong scientific visuals are worked alongside crisp tailoring for a juxtaposing mix.

Hannah-Rose-Flores of UCA Epsom displayed an ethereal palette of mint, peach, nude and pale blue. These dream-like shades are worked across a relaxed blouse shape featuring delicate floral embellishments. We couldn’t get enough of her iridescent mint pin-tucks!

Angus Chiang of Shih Chien University received a standing ovation as he debuted his final collection at the #GFW international showcase yesterday. He certainly made a bold statement with his neon 3D floral spaceman suit, not forgetting the matching mirrored helmet!
